My Approach to Therapy

Lekisha Glenn is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with 10 years of experience. Mrs. Glenn has a genuine passion for working with people that dates back to her teenage years, when she volunteered with children in foster care. She has worked with children, young adults, adults, and families. Mrs. Glenn specializes in supporting people with attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD), anger management, anxiety, autism, depression, domestic violence, disruptive mood dysregulation (DMDD), grief, and adjustment challenges.

My Practice & Services

Mrs. Glenn completed her master's degree in clinical mental health counseling at Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As a survivor of trauma, Mrs. Glenn is proof that it is possible to have a tremendous capacity for growth, positive change, and movement toward health in the face of adversity. This, coupled with her professional experience, allows her to create a warm, welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment. She utilizes multiple treatment modalities, including person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), art therapy, motivational interviewing, talk therapy, and more. “It’s not the load that breaks you down, it’s the way that you carry it.” Lekisha is confident that she can provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to present and process past and current stressors, trauma, and concerns. This space allows room to identify root causes and develop skills to promote well-being. Lekisha is eager to support you through a journey of healing. If you are ready to embark on this journey and prepared to do the work, schedule an appointment with her today.
