You need reassurance that you have made the right decision to get outside support, and that I will be the person to best help you. I want you to know that I have a passion for helping others, and I strive to make each person feel safe, comfortable, and confident in the therapeutic process so that collaboration and healing can occur. In therapy, we will work together to better understand your needs and come up with solutions that are manageable and reachable. We will work on developing greater self-knowledge and identifying emotional, behavioral, and relational patterns that have gotten in your way and kept you feeling stuck. I will teach you skills that include helping you better regulate your emotions, manage your stress, challenge unproductive ways of thinking, and become a better advocate for yourself.

I have extensive experience working with older children, adolescents, and adults struggling with life transition issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship struggles, which may cause a person to feel isolated or alone. I am a patient, open, and accepting therapist who works at a pace that is comfortable to you.
