What's My Approach to Therapy?
My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, highly interactive, and grounded in over 35 years of clinical experience. I work to understand the full depth of a person’s life, while also focusing on helping people to reduce distressing symptoms. The treatment I offer is tailored rather than formulaic, not one size fits all.
Therapy with me is active and reflective. I focus on helping people gain insights that can be applied to everyday life, increasing emotional awareness, and reducing distressing thoughts that cause anxiety, depression, and anger, to produce lasting change, where meaningful progress can occur.
