My Approach to Helping
One of the benefits for being a therapist for almost 30 years is the opportunity to learn more about myself, and fine-tune my skills and tools, to best serve people who are looking for guidance, as they face difficult real-world life challenges. My experiences have sparked my desire to help those with life challenges, and I also lead free community support groups in various areas. I invite you to take a closer look, and call me.
More Info About My Practice
In my experience, the best results occur when we are not limited to a specific number of therapeutic sessions, the usual model for managed care and other health insurance. There are also very real privacy and ethics issues to consider, when using insurance for therapy.
I offer options to serve people with financial challenges, to help find ways for them to receive therapy. If you wish to discuss options for you, I am glad to talk with you, regarding my privacy and ethics concerns.
My Guiding Ethical Principles
The best therapeutic relationship is built on trust and caring within the context of a professional relationship, in my philosophy. We work together, in a holistic milieu, while having clear boundaries, expectations, and goals. One of MY goals is to help bring you to the point where you no longer need therapy. By helping you clearly identify YOUR goals early on, we can make rapid progress to that end.
