Lauren Exume, LCSW

Hello! My name is Lauren, and I hold bachelor's and master's degrees in social work. I am clinically licensed and have worked in the field since 2009. I have worked with adults and adolescents in telehealth, inpatient, and field-based settings. Many of the individuals I have worked with have experienced challenges related to relationship dynamics, sudden loss, marital and financial stressors, infidelity, negative peer relationships, body image, and balancing career and household demands. The individuals I have worked with are no different from most of us, as we are all, on some level, seeking balance, peace, and reassurance.

In our work together, I seek to provide space to investigate the root causes of some of your most pressing issues. Through exploration, utilizing mindfulness, person-centered, cognitive behavioral, and solution-focused approaches, we will work toward greater clarity and self-acceptance. You can expect a receptive, compassionate, and judgment-free approach. I know that showing vulnerability and transparency can be tough, but I would like to share that space with you. I can best support individuals who are motivated toward change and are insightful. I specialize in anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, and life transitions.
