My Approach to Therapy
I want therapy to feel like pulling up a chair and having space to simply be yourself. You never have to perform, have it all figured out, or arrive as the “right” version of yourself. I welcome clients with a wide range of experiences, concerns, and reasons for seeking therapy. Whether you’re carrying longstanding patterns or facing something more recent, we can begin wherever you are. Together, we’ll make sense of what’s happening now, understand what shaped you, explore and heal what lies beneath, and move forward in a way that feels meaningful and uniquely yours.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas, and I often work with posttraumatic stress (PTSD), complex posttraumatic stress (CPTSD), attachment and relationship concerns, anxiety, depression, attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD), grief, self-doubt, and nervous system dysregulation. My approach is integrative, person-centered, and trauma-informed, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic and solution-focused approaches, attachment theory, and somatic-informed principles to tailor therapy to you.
Above all, I believe the relationship we build is one of the most meaningful parts of therapy. Sessions don’t need to feel clinical, polished, or look the same each week. We can do difficult work, gently challenge you, celebrate growth, or just make space to exhale, talk, cry, or laugh. There is room for all of it here, and I’ll be in your corner regardless.
