My Approach to Therapy

I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), licensed to practice in the state of Florida. As a doctorally prepared nurse practitioner, I take a holistic and individualized approach to every client. This approach comes from the understanding that mental health can affect multiple areas of your life. I treat each client with individualized care and evidence-based interventions, and I may utilize medication in conjunction with therapy to improve outcomes. I work with clients of all ages from the privacy of my office and via video conferencing. I specialize in treating a range of mood, anxiety, and thought-related challenges. I am licensed to prescribe medication and provide time-limited therapy. I am also willing to collaborate with your therapist to support your overall mental health. As your psychiatric provider, you can expect individualized and empathetic care. I have several years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings with various age groups. I look forward to the possibility of working with you. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me.

Supervision Details

In Florida, a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner may practice pursuant to a collaborative relationship with a licensed physician, consistent with applicable Florida law, Board of Nursing requirements, and the practitioner’s education, certification, and scope of practice. The collaborating physician’s role is consultative rather than routinely supervisory: the PMHNP independently evaluates, diagnoses, and manages patients within scope, while the physician remains available for clinical
