Don’t let your now be your forever. I work with individuals to build emotional wellness skills to tackle unhealthy relationships that triggers anxiety and depression. I will guide you through skills to help you overcome cycles of toxic relationships, family drama, codependency, rescue syndrome, trauma, self-doubt-imposter syndrome, toxic work stress, racial issues, burn out. I understand the stress of feeling consumed by life and overbearing relationships. I can relate to life feeling too much, wanting to leave everything, everyone behind and disappear. It’s overwhelmingly exhausting to silently suffer on the inside. It's essential you have tools to help you.

It can be difficult to ask for help. It's hard to be vulnerable with someone you don't know. Therapy requires this of you, so it's important to have a therapist you connect with and is able to supportively meet your needs. We will work together to build a connection so you can feel safe and comfortable sharing your feelings. Collaboratively we will work on building your skills. We will explore tools to help you reframe your emotions, reset boundaries and expectations, build communication skills and confidence. I provide psycho-educational solution-focused feedback and support throughout sessions. The goal is to empower you to healthily resolve relationship issues, find inner peace and stand in your truth.

My style is a mix of therapies and coaching. I integrate emotionally-focused, cognitive behavioral, mindfulness and solution-focused techniques to guide you towards emotional wellness. I understand the challenges of scheduling time for yourself. Keeping your scheduling needs in mind, I offer options of late evenings and Sunday sessions to help you fit in time to focus on you. Making time for self-growth is not always easy, but it's worth it!

My Therapy Focus

I strongly believe in continual self-growth. As individuals we continually grow and change. I believe we have a choice in how we grow, change, and show up in our lives and the lives of others. I am a strong advocate of emotional wellness and mental health prevention. In my years of experience as a mental health therapist I have learned that developing tools for emotional wellness reduces risk of experiencing a mental health crisis and prevents stress related health issues. Everyone copes with stressors. However, our emotional response to stress, which translate in our behaviors is what determines if we are using healthy or unhealthy tools to cope. How we process stress and emotionally react matters! This insight guided my decision to promote emotional wellness in my therapy practice.
