My Approach to Therapy

As a culturally diverse woman, I bring a deep understanding of identity exploration shaped by multicultural and intersectional experiences. Having personally navigated loss, transitions, and life challenges, I offer an authentic perspective on how these experiences affect the mind, body, and spirit. I believe in the power of building new life skills to restore and strengthen the whole self. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 11 years of experience providing compassionate care across diverse behavioral health settings. My background includes hospice and grief counseling, and I support adults and families through life’s most vulnerable transitions. I bring a culturally sensitive, intersectional approach to therapy, especially for those navigating identity, loss, or major life changes. My goal is to help clients gain clarity, emotional relief, and confidence as they work toward healing and transformation.

My Practice & Services

I earned my Master’s in Clinical Social Work from the University of Central Florida, where I also completed minors in gerontology and sociology. I integrate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), and mindfulness-based therapy to create individualized, evidence-based care. I meet clients where they are with compassion, curiosity, and collaboration. Whether you’re coping with anxiety, depression, chronic illness, or self-esteem challenges, my approach is restorative and empowering. Therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating; it can be transformative, helping you reconnect with your purpose and inner resilience.
