I have worked with those who are involved with the justice system and struggling with substance abuse for years. In recent years, I have also expanded my specialty to include disabled veterans, first responders, including CIZM and debriefs. I have also worked for many years with those who are both victims of domestic violence and those who have acted out domestically. My life experience as a person in long-term recovery and formerly justice-involved has as much, if not more, impact than my education. I have lived in dark places in my life and found a path into the light, which I have been able to utilize to help others.
I have found a path out of the darkness and have lived in the light for over two decades. I am active in 12-step recovery, and I live my life in such a way that those who come to know me want to come to know their Creator and to take the necessary actions to change. I specialize in behavioral change, and I utilize not just my education but my lived experience.
I know what it takes to change. I have spent years walking in the darkness driven by mental health and substance abuse. For more than two decades, I have carried a message of hope both professionally and as a layman in recovery. I speak out and recover out loud so that others may find hope and a way out of the darkness they are faced with in their lives.
