What's My Approach to Therapy?

As your therapist, I become your companion in exploration, education, and healing. I strive to help you reach your goals in a safe and supportive environment, ensuring you know I am with you every step of the way. The majority of my clients include teens, adults, and couples. Specializations include anxiety, depression, human sexuality, LGBTQIA+ issues, and trauma. I have experience working with people who have survived sexual assault and intimate partner violence. The therapeutic approach I use most would be considered eclectic, primarily focusing on person-centered and trauma-informed therapy. With 15 years of experience in mental health, I began my journey focusing on intimate partner violence and substance abuse, witnessing trauma's profound effects. I expanded my expertise to include trauma complexities and human sexuality. I hold licenses to practice in South Carolina, Illinois, and Nevada.
