Holistic Integrated Psychotherapy is an amazing and effective therapeutic approach to emotional and psychological healing. Combining traditional talk therapy with mind/body practices allows for a deeper level of healing for all kinds of maladies. This includes depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, grief, loss, relationship problems, and eating disorders just to name a few. My work with clients includes assessment and diagnosis of the problem through traditional talk therapy as well as observation from an Ayurvedic and energy viewpoint. From there I assess what yoga asana, meditation, breathing, mindfulness, and/or Ayurveda practices will be beneficial to the client. Each client has different needs, abilities, and problems so each client is taught different practices. We do these together in session and the client is given the practice as homework. This truly is a unique and dynamic approach to healing.
