Kayla Cisero, Licensed Clinical Social Worker

I'm a licensed clinical social worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals through life's most difficult challenges. My background includes providing psychotherapy in forensic settings and conducting emergency assessments for individuals in crisis. I primarily work with adults navigating the lasting effects of childhood trauma or struggling with anxiety, depression, or mood conditions. I aim to help clients uncover the roots of their pain, strengthen coping skills, and move toward healing and self-acceptance.

I earned my Master's in Social Work from Kennesaw State University. My therapeutic approach is humanistic, grounded in empathy and collaboration. I incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and schema therapy to help clients recognize unhelpful patterns, build insight, and develop practical coping skills.
