What's My Approach to Therapy?

My counseling approach is empathetic, honest and I want to stretch you and help you feel like yourself again. I most often combine relational talk therapy with a coaching approach, then I sprinkle in some awesome techniques. Work on beliefs, patterns, and negative experiences that may be keeping you stuck. I do Brainspotting for trauma, triggers, negative reactions and fears. I look forward to hearing from you!

My Practice & Services

I offer engaging online and in-person therapy designed to help clients feel comfortable, supported, and truly understood. This is a space where you can feel seen, heard, and known. If anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma or grief are making life feel like a struggle, you are not alone- and you do not have to figure it out by yourself. I help children, teens, and adults understand emotions, beliefs, patterns, past experiences so you can build coping tools and feel more in control again. Maybe you are going through a tough time after a breakup, stress, infidelity, divorce, caregiving, burnout, or codependency. You might be struggling with attachment issues, life challenges or life transitions. For children, sessions may include interactive whiteboard tools, activities, and games to help keep kids involved, focused, and engaged in the therapeutic process. I use CBT with teens and work on thoughts, beliefs, patterns and past experiences. With adults I work on story, beliefs, patterns, and past experiences using talk therapy and a variety of techniques. You can decide if you want the comfort and ease of online sessions (M-F 8AM-5PM) or in-person session in Chanhassen, MN on Tuesdays and Thursdays (8AM-12PM). Together, we will work on getting to the root of what is going on, gently explore blind spots, and develop insight and skills to help you start feeling better and moving forward. I look forward to connecting with you!
