My Approach to Helping
Sometimes you need to tell the negative committee inside your head to just sit down and shut up. You would like to be able to manage your thoughts and learn to relax. I can help you do that. "Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up being the biggest step of your life. Tip toe if you must, but take the step." More Info About My Practice
I conduct in-office, Telehealth, and Walk n Talk therapy sessions with clients. Walk n Talk is where I meet with a client in a local park and we walk while conducting the therapy session. Getting outdoors really changes the dynamic of the session. Clients are often more relaxed as being outdoors is familiar, rather than being in a therapy office. But if being outdoors is not for you, don't worry. I still meet with clients in my nice cozy office or online.
My Role as a Therapist
Often a person is hesitant to seek therapy because they see this as admitting a weakness. In fact, it is being strong and should be seen as a strength. It takes courage to see within yourself that you need help, that there is an area that needs change. It takes even more courage to actually ask someone for that help. I want to work with you to identify what you want to change and support you with that change. Together. For Change.
