What's My Approach to Therapy?
While working with me, you can expect a warm, affirming, and collaborative environment to explore emotions and experiences, discover and amplify strengths, and learn skills to ground and regulate your nervous system. I specialize in work with adolescents and adults dealing with emotional and behavioral dysregulation; trauma, loss, and grief; exploring gender, navigating life transitions; social and relational challenges; and rigid or intrusive thinking patterns that interrupt functioning.
After receiving my undergraduate degree from Yale University, I worked in youth development and community mental health in various capacities. I have a Master of Social Work from Boston College, and have worked at McLean Hospital and Franciscan Children's Hospital in inpatient, community-based acute treatment (CBAT), acute residential, and partial hospitalization levels of care. I later transitioned to providing outpatient therapy at Fenway Health and The Borum, specializing in work with gender diverse adolescents and young adults.
I am looking forward to meeting you!
