My Approach to Therapy

I believe therapy is a space where you can show up as your full, authentic self—without judgment, shame, or pressure to be anyone other than who you are. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and empowering, with a focus on helping individuals and couples build deeper connections with themselves and one another. I work with individuals and couples to explore relationship dynamics, improve communication, navigate intimacy concerns, and develop a healthier relationship with their bodies and sexuality. Using a sex-positive, body-positive, and empowerment-focused approach, I strive to create a safe space where you can ask questions, challenge old beliefs, explore your needs and desires, and feel more confident advocating for yourself. I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is to help you better understand yourself, recognize patterns that may no longer serve you, and discover new ways of relating to yourself and others. Whether you are working through relationship challenges, exploring your sexuality, navigating changes in intimacy, or simply hoping to feel more comfortable and confident in your own skin, we will work together to identify what matters most to you and move toward meaningful change. Therapy isn't about fixing who you are; it's about creating space for growth, connection, and possibility. My goal is to help you feel more empowered to build relationships, intimacy, and a life that reflects your values, needs, and authentic self.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

What I love most about being a psychotherapist is the opportunity to help people feel understood, accepted, and empowered to create meaningful change in their lives. I value being able to provide a space where clients can explore parts of themselves they may have felt uncomfortable sharing elsewhere, challenge the beliefs that have held them back, and discover new ways of relating to themselves and others. I find it especially rewarding to help individuals and couples strengthen their connections, communicate more openly, and develop greater confidence in their needs, boundaries, bodies, and sexuality. I believe growth happens when people feel safe enough to be curious about themselves without fear of judgment or shame. Being trusted to walk alongside clients as they navigate difficult conversations, deepen their self-understanding, and build more authentic and fulfilling lives is a privilege I truly value.
