My Approach to Therapy
My approach to therapy is supportive, empathetic, and focused on helping clients feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout their healing journey. With over 25 years of experience working with youth and families, I specialize in supporting adolescents navigating depression, anxiety, anger, self-esteem challenges, trauma, and emotional dysregulation. I help clients recognize their inner strengths, build self-advocacy skills, and create a safe space where healing and growth can happen at their own pace.
My Role as a Therapist
As a therapist, my role is to provide a compassionate and nonjudgmental space where clients can process difficult experiences, develop healthy coping skills, and feel supported through life?s challenges. I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and family-centered work, to help clients better understand their emotions, strengthen communication, and build resilience. Together, we?ll work toward greater confidence, emotional wellness, and meaningful progress.
