My Approach to Helping
Because I have training in several different types of therapy, I can individualize my approach to meet your particular needs and concerns. Once we establish your goals, we will work towards resolving the pain or stress you are experiencing and improve your understanding of your situation or relationship. At one time or another, we all have thoughts and behaviors that impede our success. In our work together, we will seek to uncover your irrational thoughts and unhelpful behaviors and replace them with skills that serve you better. I want you to be able to sustain the change you create in my office, so I will actively teach you tools and techniques which will enable you to sustain that change.
