My Approach to Helping
We all have strengths that we can develop, as well as challenges from which we can grow. Each crisis in our lives is an opportunity for healing and growth. As your therapist, I will use a variety of techniques to help you achieve your personal, professional, and spiritual goals. My primary approach is relational, meaning I focus on the healing power of the therapeutic relationship. A dynamic, interactive, and empathic therapist, I offer advice and support when needed, and I share my own experiences when I think they will be helpful. Though I have extensive, in-depth training, I rely greatly on intuition and humor in my work.

Group therapy is a wonderful way to develop and improve relationships with significant others, family members, friends and colleagues. I am currently forming (2) groups that will meet weekly starting in late January 2020:
1. Men's Group: Open to all self-identified men, this group will explore members' issues in a supportive and gently challenging environment. This will be a mid-day group, scheduled to meet Tuesdays at 12 pm. Adult men of all ages and cultures welcome.
2. Mixed Group: Open to adults of any gender, this group will explore members' issues in a supportive and gently challenging environment. This will be an evening group, scheduled to meet Thursdays at 5 pm. Adults of all ages and cultures welcome.
My Downtown Bethesda office is accessible via Metro and bus and there is free parking on the premises.
