My Approach to Therapy

I believe the unconscious has positive intent and therapy helps those to find what that is. My mission is to help relieve people of toxic sexual shame and embrace their sexuality and sexual identities along with sexual desires and fantasies free of shame and guilt

My Practice & Services

I have written three books: 10 Smart Things Gay Men Can Do To Improve Their Lives, 10 Smart Things Gay Men Can Do To Find Real Love, and Gay Affirmative Therapy for the Straight Clinician: The Essential Guide. I also wrote a chapter in a book for partners of sex addicts titled: Gay Guise: When straight men have sex with men and are not gay.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

Sexual Compulsivity. My work is about "cracking the erotic code" and helping those uncover the nonsexual meanings of their unhealthy sexual behaviors and fantasies to get relief from the compulsivity.
