My Approach to Therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on helping children and teens feel safe, supported, and empowered as they navigate life’s challenges. I work with young people experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, social difficulties, and emotional stress, and I also support families through the process. I believe therapy should build on each child’s strengths and provide a space where they can express themselves, develop coping skills, and grow with confidence.

My Role as a Therapist

As a therapist, my role is to provide a supportive and encouraging environment where children, teens, and families feel heard, understood, and guided through difficult moments. I use evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, mindfulness, trauma-focused therapy, family therapy, psychodynamic work, and creative interventions to tailor care to each client’s unique needs. Together, we’ll focus on building emotional resilience, healthy coping strategies, stronger communication, and meaningful progress both inside and outside of therapy.
