My Approach to Helping
Life can get overwhelming while balancing responsibilities, roles, relationships, and self awareness. With 10 years of experience in the Mental Health field, I am dedicated to creating a space for you to be heard, listened to with compassion, and respected as the unique individual you are. My approach to counseling is client-centered, mindful and compassion based. I believe that counseling is most effective when there is a trusting relationship established and I will work hard to partner with you in completing your goals for counseling. I utilize various therapeutic methods including but not limited to: Cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems theory, and dialectical behavioral therapy.
