What's My Approach to Therapy?
You’re probably here because something inside you is asking for more than survival.
Maybe you’re exhausted from holding it together. Maybe your relationships feel inauthentic and unfulfilling. Maybe your mind feels loud, your body feels heavy, or you keep asking yourself why you know what to do, but can’t seem to do it. If you’re here, chances are you’ve already tried on "the tools" or possibly read a dozen self-help books (halfway through, of course), yet change never comes to the surface.
I want you to know this first: you’re not broken. What you’re experiencing makes sense.
My approach to healing starts with the belief that symptoms are not the problem. They are messengers. Anxiety, depression, overwhelm, disconnection, and relationship struggles are often the nervous system and psyche doing their best to protect you based on what you’ve lived through. Together, we slow down enough to understand those patterns, rather than fighting or shaming them.
In our work, I show up as a real person alongside you, ready to meet you right where you are. My role is to help you make sense of your inner world, your relationships, and the ways your past continues to shape your present. We pay attention not just to what you think, but to what you feel in your body, how you relate to others, and the parts of you that step in when things feel unsafe or overwhelming.
At times, the therapeutic process looks like gently exploring early experiences and attachment patterns. Other times, it means working with the nervous system, emotions, or protective parts that have been working overtime. We focus on building awareness, compassion, and choice, so you’re no longer stuck reacting on autopilot.
Healing here isn’t about fixing yourself or becoming someone new. It’s about reconnecting with who you already are beneath the survival strategies. Over time, clients often notice more clarity, steadiness, and a deeper sense of aliveness, both within themselves and in their relationships.
You don’t have to do this alone. If you’re tired of pretending you’re fine, and ready for deeper, more meaningful change, I’m here to help you find your way back to yourself.
