Jennifer Obrien, Licensed Clinical Social Worker

As a single mother of four children, I know and understand the unique challenges that come with parenting on your own while still making time for self-care. I am a Master of Social Work (MSW) and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), as well as a certified life coach, with over five years of clinical experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges. I have a strong background working within the foster and adoption community, providing clinical support to youth and adults navigating complex emotional and relational dynamics. My work focuses on helping clients identify and shift unhelpful patterns, beliefs, and behaviors that impact self-worth, relationships, and overall well-being.

I am committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore who they are, build insight, and develop the tools they need to move toward meaningful change. I earned my Master of Social Work from Widener University and hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Simpson University. I practice from a trauma-informed lens, using attachment-based, emotionally focused, and person-centered therapy, accelerated resolution therapy (ART), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to meet each client’s needs. I support individuals in cultivating self-compassion, resilience, and healthier relationships, starting with how they relate to themselves.
