What's My Approach to Therapy?
Listen, I have a strong interest and curiosity in every person's human experience and helping people navigate themselves - i.e. their thoughts, patterns, relationships, and all the things the come up along the way. Life is gray - it is NOT black and white - every experience matters and is unique to you. So, in our sessions we get to know each other and end up talking about what you’ve been carrying, what you’ve been avoiding, what you’ve learned to hide, and what you actually need.
There is literally no judgment. I’m not here to take over your choices—I’m here to help you see them more clearly and, when it helps, talk through what might actually work for you. And hopefully some of the random points of humor are helpful too.
I use tools that help, but the main work is understanding yourself clearly enough to make different choices. If you’re tired of pretending you’re fine, or if you want a space where you can just show up as you are—even if that’s confused, tired, or unsure—I’m here.
My Practice & Services
At our practice, we are aiming to create an environment of collaborative care. Slowly we are working to create a network of professionals that can help give clients psychiatric help, somatic healing, hypnotism, reiki, and the like. We are working with other people to create a space where we see the whole person and try to help put the pieces together.
What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
This is my second career and I feel like I have finally found a way to incorporate my passion for people into work. I love being able to deep dive with my clients about their inner thoughts and feelings, experiences, hearing all the things. I always found myself at parties or even at work getting into deep conversations with people and then finding that not all those settings are conducive to sharing andor healing. Now, I have an "office" and we get to talk, go through the emotions as they come up, and work together on helping you create the life that feels more right for you. What happens in the office, stays in the office. Leave it with me!
