I believe every person has inherent worth and value. Each of us is unique, and those differences deserve to be respected and honoured. My goal as a counsellor is not to change who you are but to support you as you discover and embrace your strengths, your individuality, and your sense of purpose. My approach to therapy is collaborative. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and meaningful growth happens when we work together in a safe, supportive space. I strive to create an environment where you feel welcomed, respected, and truly heard, no matter your background, experiences, or beliefs.
My perspective is rooted in a Christian foundation that inspires my belief in the equal worth of every person. At the same time, I welcome and respect people from all walks of life.
My focus is always on meeting you where you are and supporting you in a way that aligns with your values and goals. I use an eclectic counseling approach, meaning I draw from several evidence-based therapies depending on what best fits your needs. My primary influence
ces include Adlerian therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and the Gottman Method for couples.
I may also incorporate other approaches when they can support your growth and well-being. Above all, I see counselling as a place where you can explore your experiences, gain insight, build practical skills, and reconnect with your own strengths. I hope that through our work together, you feel more confident in your worth, more connected to who you are, and better equipped to navigate life’s challenges.
I welcome and work with individuals from all backgrounds, identities, and life experiences. I strive to create a supportive and respectful space where everyone feels safe, valued, and heard. I work with a variety of people, including children and adolescents, adults and older adults, individuals, couples and partners, and families.
I also support people from diverse cultural, spiritual, and personal backgrounds. My goal is to meet each person where they are and honor their unique story, experiences, and identity. Whether you are navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, emotional struggles, or simply seeking greater self-understanding, I aim to provide a compassionate and collaborative environment for growth. I believe that everyone deserves a place where they can feel accepted and supported, and I welcome clients of all identities, beliefs, and life paths.
