What's My Approach to Therapy?
Welcome to your journey of wellness and healing! If you are ready to make a change, we can do some great work together. If you are hesitant about your ability, I will partner with you to develop a new relationship with that barrier to allow the full spectrum of human experience to include confidence and joy. My practice consists of talk and experiential therapy as well as psychoeducation, so you can understand what is happening to the body in distress. If you are ready and open to it, we will practice skill building in session to assist with a sense of security outside of the therapy room. As a therapist, I feel comfortable gently challenging you, admiring you in totality, calling out your innate wisdom that may have gone unrecognized, holding space for the expression of painful emotions, and taking your struggles seriously.
