My Approach to Therapy

Im a licensed therapist specializing in in-depth grief therapy, trauma therapy, burnout therapy, counseling for attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD) challenges and support for life transitions in Arizona through online therapy statewide and in-person sessions in Phoenix, Chandler, Mesa and Tempe. I offer integrative therapy shaped by both clinical training and lived experience navigating pressure, transitions, institutions and identity over time. Most of the people I work with, youth and adults, are thoughtful, capable and used to managing a lot. Something has shifted, not only in their lives but in them. Therapy isnt about fixing something thats broken. Its about exploring and understanding whats happening beneath the surface, seeing patterns that are hard to see on your own, building capacity to respond differently and moving toward a life that feels more aligned with who you are and where you see yourself headed. I use an integrative approach that draws on psychodynamic therapy (relational, focusing on patterns and dynamics over time), existential therapy (exploring the delights and challenges of the human condition in the here and now) and behavioral therapies such as dialectical behavior therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy. This supports nervous system regulation and helps you move into an uncertain world in ways that feel resonant and grounded. Within this framework, I tailor therapy to your needs, providing a safe space to connect, make sense of your life, relationships and suffering and work with you to create better options and outcomes than now seem possible.
