I am a clinical psychologist whose work is focused on assisting women through transitions in midlife. I love helping my clients deepen the meaning they find in their lives, explore their sense of self in the midst of change, and find their purpose. Often, my clients come to therapy with a sense that their life circumstances no longer have the same power to motivate them or provide meaning. Others have lives that are changing in unanticipated ways and feel unsure how to proceed. I am inspired by my clients’ desire for growth in the face of challenge and change, and I enjoy supporting them in becoming their best, most authentic selves.
I have 20 years of experience as a psychotherapist, with specialized training in evidence-based therapies for posttraumatic stress (PTSD), depression, and anxiety. I am also equipped to support clients with physical health issues that sometimes arise in midlife, including hot flashes and insomnia, using a cognitive behavioral approach.
If you are looking for a compassionate, collaborative space in which to navigate life transitions, I would love to chat. When my clients see themselves with clarity, self-compassion, and self-acceptance, the opportunities for growth are remarkable.
