I use two approaches I’ve found to be both effective and reliable for individual and couples counseling: eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and the Gottman Method. I’ve sought out advanced training in both. I stick closely to these methods, which I believe sets me apart from therapists who may use them with less intention or skill. I also have advanced training through The Gottman Institute to help couples work through betrayal and affairs.
My Practice & Services
The Relationship Hearth is a calm space for individuals and couples to confidently begin working on their "relationship issues". I help you find lasting change with effective methods that I have refined over years of study.

It can be hard to find a good couples counselor, someone who is trained in the art of working with couples and loves what they do. Moreso, It can be hard to find a therapist who has a system for couples with betrayalaffairs find their way to a better relationship. I offer both of these things in a way that is rare and often not experienced for most people seeking couples therapy. I also stick to the EMDR protocol in a way that consistently shows you the magic of what EMDR reprocessing does to calm down individual client's nervous systems, even on memories and events you may have been experiencing, noticing, and talking about for years or decades.
My Role as a Therapist
My primary job is to give you experiences that re-shape your understanding of yourself and the world. Therapy can often be laiden with talking and education, which is always helpful. However, with the Gottman Method and EMDR, I am able to "talk less" and get down to business, giving you the results and change your heartbodynervous-system needs.
