My name is Janie Thompson, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Dalton, Georgia working statewide via telehealth. I work with adolescents and adults with an array of issues such as but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy along with an eclectic approach to other modalities. My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of each individual. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is my primary approach allowing me to identify strengths in every person and build on their experiences with new skills and techniques to overcome obstacles.
