Janet Vernell Granville, Licensed Professional Counselor

Janet Granville is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) who has experience working in a variety of settings and with an array of issues. She has worked in the mental health field for more than 15 years and has a strong history with children and adolescents. Janet also has experience with young to geriatric age adults. Her interest is in supporting individuals as they progress towards better lives. She has worked with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, grief, trauma, women's issues, and life transitions.

Janet has worked as a social worker at a residential home, as a therapist in the school setting, and as a psychological intern in a hospital. Janet primarily utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Janet also has experience in utilizing narrative therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and solution-focused therapy. Life presents challenges to everyone. Janet has been able to support/connect with others as they progress through their life concerns.
