I have a master's degree in counselling, and I am a certified addictions professional with 20+ years of experience working in the field of addiction and behavioural health services. I have a passion for working with people who just want to feel better and learn coping skills in dealing with anxiety and depression. Over the years, I have provided therapeutic services for veterans, adolescents, and adults with substance use and behavioural health issues. I believe in using a strengths-based approach in treating your individualised needs. I utilise a variety of holistic and evidence-based therapy approaches with an emphasis on solution-focused therapy, trauma-informed care, and cognitive behavioural therapy. My passion is to help you uncover your true potential and live the life you desire. I specialise in addiction treatment and have been a recovery coach to many individuals. I also have extensive experience in working with families that are struggling with a family member who is using substances. I believe that mental health and self-care are imperative to live a healthy lifestyle, and I know from experience that they are necessary to prevent other life problems. Sometimes just talking to someone and trying some new approaches in coping with stress can be very beneficial.
