My Approach to Helping

My ideal client seeks a space where they feel understood and supported while navigating anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, or burnout. Many are LGBTQ+ individuals, college students, veterans, or professionals facing stress, compassion fatigue, or identity concerns. They want more than coping strategies; they seek personal growth, resilience, and self-empowerment. Trust and authenticity are key, creating a space for deep exploration and lasting change. If this resonates, I look forward to supporting you on your journey.

As a National Certified Counselor and Certified Trauma Professional, I prioritize rapport and a client-centered approach. Using an integrative framework, I create a safe, supportive space for adults to navigate challenges, build resilience, and develop tools for healing and growth. My goal is to provide compassionate, effective care tailored to each client.
I provide personalized individual therapy, tailored to meet diverse needs, whether in-person or via TeleMental health services. Drawing from my experiences as a military spouse, foster care, and as part of the LGBTQ+ community, I offer holistic support for individuals facing transitions, family relationship stress, life struggles, addiction, and trauma.

More Info About My Practice

Finding a therapist shouldn’t feel clinical or cold. At Dubry Counseling Group, we offer affirming, real-world therapy for people navigating identity, relationships, transitions, and stress. Whether you’re a young adult stepping into independence, a professional feeling burned out, or someone trying to unlearn old patterns, you don’t have to do it alone.

We work with individuals and couples from all walks of life, and I care deeply about creating a space where LGBTQ+ and BIPOC clients feel seen and supported. Therapy here isn’t about fixing you—it’s about exploring how you’ve survived, what you want to change, and what growth could look like when it’s on your terms.

If you're looking for a therapist who shows up with clarity, curiosity, and compassion, you’re in the right place.

Importance of the Client-Therapist Alliance

I believe the relationship between client and therapist is at the heart of effective therapy. Feeling safe, seen, and heard isn?t a bonus?it?s essential. Therapy works best when there?s mutual trust, respect, and a sense of collaboration. I work to create a space where you don?t have to shrink, perform, or explain yourself?where we can be real, explore openly, and move at a pace that honors where you are. Whether you're processing trauma, navigating change, or trying to better understand yourself, our alliance is the foundation we build from.
