My Approach to Helping
The clients that are drawn to working with me are individuals who are determined to free themselves from emotional oppression. Negative life experiences can hinder our ability to grow into our full potential and can cause us to engage in unhealthy relationships with ourselves, the ones we love, and the world around us.
Working closely with my clients, we uncover the truth of their being. It is with love and compassion that I work in partnership with my clients to discover what inner wounds and needs there are to be tended to. Clients that have a desire to live in authenticity with themselves and in their relationships are ideal clients for my practice. I continue to be in awe of the dedication, courage, and curiosity my clients display in session as we work in collaboration to seek to know the unknown parts of themselves and heal inner wounds.
It is my belief that all emotional suffering can be relieved through loving and healthy relationships with ourselves and others. Providing a safe space for our emotional healing through psychotherapy can be one of the most beneficial ways we can engage in self-care for ourselves and our relationships.
I strive to use a culturally competent lens in my life and practice, as well as be inclusive of diversity when working with individuals and couples.
