As a parent, it can be challenging to know what your child needs in the moment during difficult experiences. Play therapy creates a space where children can express themselves safely, work through what is beneath the behaviour, and build the ability to feel more settled and in control. Caregivers are an important part of this process, and I work to help parents better understand their child’s emotional world so healing and regulation can be supported both in and outside the therapy room.
My approach is about giving children a safe and natural way to express what they may not yet have words for. Through play, kids can process big feelings, heal from stress or trauma, and practice new ways of coping. Using the foundations of attachment and child development, families are able to better understand each other and heal through connection.
Reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. I offer a compassionate space for individuals to navigate life’s challenges and feel understood. I’ll meet you where you are and walk alongside you in the process of healing. I am booking sessions for ages 4+ and available in person, virtual, or in the community.
