You survived what happened, but that doesn’t mean it stopped affecting you. You may feel anxious, depressed, emotionally numb, forgetful, or frustrated that you can’t focus or be as productive as you once were. My name is Ian Mearns I specialize in helping adults understand and heal from PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship challenges. I also have worked with families invovled in the criminal justice system, foster care and mental health court.

With more than 15 years of experience in mental health care and social work, I am committed to helping you find balance and resilience so that you can move forward and achieve the life you want. In session, I will use a therapeutic approach that combines psychoanalytic, behavioral, and cognitive therapy techniques to help my clients uncover their internal belief systems, identify their strengths, and develop new skills to address the issues that led them to seek therapy in the first place.
