My specialty is relationship issues . I work with couples who feel distant, lack intimacy, had an infidelity and are sexually unsatisfed. My approach is supportive, patient and at the same time action oriented. I have trained in a variety of therapeutic models, ie. Gottman, Neurobiology, EFT and Psychodynamic therapy. These various models help me have the tools to best help the individual needs of each couple. I believe in the uniqueness of each situation and have the skills to work with diverse problems and strengths. The couples and individuals I work with leave sessions with new ways of thinking and behaving in the service of more positive sense of self and relations. I believe some change is always possible for everyone. In my work with adults and couples using a variety of skill building techniques to help them reach their goals, dreams and stop repeating self defeating patterns. I work with women's issues including weight and body image, reproductive issues, parenting, and midlife and menopausal changes. I work with men on increasing their feelings of success and adequacy. I am interested in helping clients incorporate healthy life approaches into their individual and couples experience. I have extensive experience in psychotherapy and relationship counseling. I have been an adjunct instructor at NYU Silver School of Social Work for 16 years and I also supervise other therapists.

It has and continues to be my great honor to help you reach your goals. My respect for everyone who comes into my office is constant. You will find me non judgmental and able to consistently listen and help you identify and reach achieving your goals. Your need to feel heard and understood whatever you are struggling with .That is my priority. Therapy should never be a cookie cutter experience but specialized for you. Time is spent learning and developing awareness and skills, to lessen pain and have more joy. Couples consistently report they both feel heard and my approach is non blaming.
