My Approach to Helping
I specialize in working with relationship issues and self esteem problems for women and men. I work on relationship issues with singles and couples experiencing distancing, conflict and lack of intimacy. My approach is supportive, patient and at the same time action oriented. I have trained in a variety of therapeutic models, ie. Gottman, Neurobiology, EFT and Psychodynamic therapy. These various models help me have the tools to best help the individual needs of each couple. I believe in the uniqueness of each situation and have the skills to work with diverse problems and strengths. The couples and individuals I work with leave sessions with new ways of thinking and behaving in the service of more positive sense of self and relations. I believe some change is always possible for everyone. In my work with adults and couples using a variety of skill building techniques to help them reach their goals, dreams and stop repeating self defeating patterns.
