What's My Approach to Therapy?

My approach to therapy is collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded. I work with adults and professionals who want to better understand the patterns shaping their emotions, relationships, and decision making. Together, we slow down what feels overwhelming, develop insight, and identify practical ways to create meaningful and lasting change. I aim to provide a calm, supportive space where clients can speak openly, gain clarity, and build greater confidence in themselves and their choices.

My Practice & Services

I primarily work with adults and professionals navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, relationship challenges, and significant life transitions. Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable individuals who appear successful on the outside but feel overwhelmed, depressed, or uncertain internally. With over 16 years of clinical experience, I offer a grounded and attentive therapeutic space focused on insight, emotional clarity, and meaningful change. Sessions are collaborative and conversational while remaining purposeful, blending reflection with practical strategies that support both personal well being and professional functioning. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves, develop healthier patterns, and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and balance. I offer both in person and telehealth appointments for clients located in Texas.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

Many people I work with have spent a long time managing things on their own before considering therapy. You may be functioning well in daily life while privately feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or unsure why certain patterns keep repeating. It is common to wonder whether your concerns are ?serious enough? or to worry that you should be able to handle things independently. Therapy is not only for moments of crisis. It can be a space to slow down, gain perspective, and better understand yourself so that life feels more manageable, intentional, and aligned with what matters most to you.

What I Say to People Concerned about the Therapy Process

It is natural to feel uncertain about starting therapy, especially if you are not used to talking openly about personal experiences. Many clients worry about being judged, pressured to share too much, or not knowing what to say. Therapy moves at your pace. My role is to create a thoughtful, respectful environment where conversations unfold naturally and collaboratively. You do not need to have everything figured out before you begin. Over time, most clients find that therapy becomes a place where they can think more clearly, understand themselves more fully, and approach challenges with greater confidence.
