Medication management follow-up visits may also include brief supportive interventions, with a referral for ongoing intensive therapy with a counselor or social worker.

Nuovo Psychiatry provides personalized psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adolescents and adults. Our practice focuses on psychiatric medication management rather than ongoing psychotherapy, with treatment available for attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD), anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsion (OCD), posttraumatic stress (PTSD), bipolar, and other mental health concerns. We believe psychiatric care should feel accessible, collaborative, and tailored to the individual—not rushed or one-size-fits-all. Patients receive thoughtful evaluations, ongoing medication monitoring, and treatment plans designed around their symptoms, goals, lifestyle, and preferences. With convenient telehealth appointments throughout New Jersey and flexible scheduling, Nuovo Psychiatry makes it easier to receive consistent, high-quality psychiatric care while balancing work, school, family, and everyday life. Additional services include pharmacogenetic testing, emotional support animal and accommodation evaluation letters when clinically appropriate, psychiatric clearance evaluations, executive mental health consultations, and other specialized psychiatric services. When ongoing psychotherapy would be beneficial, referrals can be provided.
