My Approach to Helping

I have been working with children, preteens, teens, and adults in individual and family settings for 10 years. My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and person-centered. In my practice, I strive to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and in control of the path you'd like to take in your healing journey.

Making the decision to begin therapy takes courage. Perhaps you are looking to gain perspective, find tools to help cope with anxiety, explore your thought patterns, or delve into personal topics that have been weighing you down. The goal is to emerge with confidence, strength, and perspective in order to handle whatever challenges may come your way.

Had a Negative Therapy Experience?

First of all, if you're here, you might be feeling frustrated that you're still trying to find some relief, and things that you've tried just haven't helped. Instead of giving up, you've decided to turn an open mind toward giving therapy another chance. There are a lot of different types of therapy styles, and just like figuring out other important things in your life, sometimes it takes a couple of tries. When you find a therapist that you feel comfortable with, it can be a very rewarding and healing experience.
