Heather Sigmund, Licensed Professional Counselor

My name is Heather Sigmund, and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Columbus, GA. I work with adolescents and adults experiencing difficult life transitions due to separation/divorce, parenthood, past trauma(s), interpersonal issues, etc. My approach to therapy is holistic and integrative, using mindfulness-based interventions, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

My communication style is approachable, kind, and engaging. The goal is always for my clients to feel seen, heard, and understood in a non-judgmental space. Honesty and directness are important aspects of communication in my sessions. I've also been known to bring a little humor now and then.
