I approach therapy with sensitivity, compassion, and encouragement. I believe in empowering my clients to tap into their strengths, intuition, self-love, and motivation. I support individuals as they navigate identity and heal from past trauma and harmful perspectives.
I incorporate mindfulness, breathwork, acceptance, attunement, and understanding the nervous system into my practice. I value the partnership between client and clinician, which shows up in my body-based work and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). These practices can help people feel freer to trust their body and mind in the healing process. I love to infuse sessions with humor and optimism, creating an environment that supports deep work while also offering moments of much-needed levity as people navigate healing in an increasingly complicated world.
My Guiding Ethical Principles
- Supporting women will support our communities.
- There is more to life than constant consumption and rugged individualism.
- More aligned and healed individuals create stronger and closer communities.
- Identifying systemic oppression can empower us to fight for systemic change and release guilt and shame.
