My Approach to Helping

Counseling is a sacred partnership that can help you approach life's difficulties in a healthy, meaningful way that promotes change and movement in a positive way.

Together, we will work through these struggles so that you can move toward leaving old behaviors and patterns in your past, leaving space for the amazing life you deserve to enjoy. We will find what works best for you in counseling to get you out of that box of things which make you feel stuck. I offer counseling that is faith-based, however, I absolutely respect and love to work with individuals of all races, ethnicities, and beliefs.

What is holding you back? Substances? Relationships? Panic? Out of control emotions and fear? When these things feel insurmountable, it's the best time to call for help.

My Role as a Therapist

My role as a therapist is to help you through the things that make you feel stuck, unsafe, unrested, and unsure. I am an agent of change...and you get to enjoy that change and see the potential you have as you work through these difficulties. Call my today - I want to help you find your hope and healing.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

I view therapy as a means of growth and movement. Helen Keller taught us that the only way to get to the other side is to go through the door; therapy is a lot like that. That moment in your life when it's all enough - or not enough - but the realization that things must change, I believe it is a sign of strength and determination. We often ask for help with many things in life - moving furniture or having someone do our taxes....therapy is in many ways, asking someone to help move that inner clutter out of your way to clear up room for the good stuff. That makes us strong, clear, and much happier and hopeful.

Therapy can help you embrace your joy!
