My Approach to Therapy

Is anxiety, depression, or a relationship problem your constant companion? I help men, women, and couples discover that change is possible. In a warm and compassionate setting, you can confront challenging obstacles and explore healthy ways to address them. Building on your personal strengths and values, you can learn to change thought patterns and behaviors that get in your way, and discover new ways of relating to yourself, the world around you, and the people in it. If something in your life needs to change and you don't know how to make it happen - please call me - I would love to help you.

My Practice & Services

To learn more about me and the services I offer, please visit my website. If my practical approach appeals to you, contact me to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation so we can determine if we can work together. Thank you for considering me for your counseling needs. While I do not accept insurance, some clients find that out-of-network reimbursement offsets their counseling fees.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

As a Christian who was once harmed by an unlicensed Christian counselor, I've developed a skill of working with Christians who are anxious, depressed, or have relationship problems. I work with individuals who have narcissistic relatives, helping them to understand and explore ways to change the unpleasant dynamic.

Had a Negative Therapy Experience?

So have I. And here's what I've learned: Finding a therapist can sometimes feel like the search for the right pair of shoes. We may have to try a few before we find a good fit. But the right fit makes all the difference. It's my belief that there's a good therapist out there for you. It could be me, but we'll never know unless we talk about it. If you're curious, call me. If I'm not a good fit, I'll be glad to refer you to a colleague who may be.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

Some kind of struggle drives us to therapy. Yet here's the truth about that struggle: We struggle not because we are flawed, but because we are Human.
