My Approach to Therapy

My therapy style is integrative, meaning I collaborate with my clients to tailor therapy to their preferences and needs. I use a mixture of different lenses, like internal family systems (IFS), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), behavioral activation, humanistic, and psychodynamic relational frameworks. Whether you are looking to heal from trauma, build coping skills for depression and anxiety, or focus on personal growth, I’m here to help you navigate it all. Going to therapy is a brave and meaningful step, and I feel a deep sense of privilege and gratitude to support you on your journey. I am a pre-licensed counselor with a Master of Science in Community and Trauma Counseling. This means that my core values as a therapist include social justice, safety, multicultural sensitivity and humility, and an understanding of how systems affect your mental health, as well as how we can learn from each other to foster deep connections and collective healing. I'm a queer therapist, and I want my therapy space to feel safe for folks in the LGBTQIA+ community. My passion lies in creating room to talk about gender, sexuality, intimacy, and societal expectations and pressures.
