My Approach to Therapy

Constantly thinking about food, your body, or what you “should” eat is exhausting. Recovery is possible, and you deserve support that sees the whole you, not just the symptoms. Much of my clinical experience has been with teens and adults struggling with eating-related challenges, often alongside anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem. I also love helping people through life transitions and the stress that comes with them. I take a person-centered approach, which means I see you as the expert on your own experience. My role is to help you notice the strengths, values, and resources you already have and use them to move forward. Depending on your needs, we may use acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or motivational interviewing together. You can expect warmth, patience, and a pace that feels right to you. If food, your body, or your sense of self has started to feel like a constant battle, you do not have to keep fighting it alone.

My Practice & Services

Trusted Results Therapy Group is a CARF-accredited behavioral health practice with offices in West Ashley, North Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Myrtle Beach, Rock Hill, and Columbia, as well as telehealth across South Carolina. We accept most major insurance plans, including Medicaid and Medicare, and offer a sliding scale for self-pay clients. Self-pay sessions are $120. Every new client can start with a free 15 minute phone consultation, and our intake team will verify your insurance and get you scheduled in Mount Pleasant or by telehealth.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I work with teens and adults facing eating disorders, body image concerns, anxiety, low self esteem, and big life changes, along with the depression and stress that often come with them. My clinical training includes co-facilitating adolescent and adult eating disorder groups and treatment strategies for ARFID. Together we look at what keeps the cycle going and build a plan that fits your life.
