My Approach to Therapy

I offer therapy for adolescents, adults, and couples who are tired of coping on the surface and want deeper, more lasting change. Many of the people I work with feel stuck in painful relationship patterns, chronic anxiety, unresolved trauma, burnout, or a life that looks functional on the outside but feels disconnected on the inside. My approach is grounded, relational, and depth-oriented. I help clients not only manage symptoms but also understand the underlying patterns, beliefs, and emotional injuries that keep them from living with clarity, stability, and connection. My work integrates practical, evidence-based strategies with deeper exploration. Depending on a clients needs, I may draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), psychodynamic therapy, attachment-focused work, and trauma-informed interventions. In sessions, I help clients build insight, strengthen boundaries, improve communication, process difficult experiences, and respond to life with more intention rather than reactivity. I believe meaningful therapy should be both honest and useful. It should help people make sense of their story while also giving them concrete ways to move forward. I often work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relational distress, self-worth concerns, and major life transitions. I also have a strong interest in supporting first responders, crime survivors, and individuals who carry significant responsibility while silently struggling. Therapy with me is a place to slow down, tell the truth about what is not working, and begin building a life rooted in meaning, connection, and emotional steadiness. I would be honored to work with you on your journey towards healing.

Ive always been drawn to those who feel unseen or misunderstood, because I know what that feels like. Im a U.S. Army veteran, and a combat deployment shaped how I see both strength and vulnerability.
