What's My Approach to Therapy?
As a licensed clinical psychologist, I help individuals from diverse cultural and social backgrounds deal with a variety of life challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, career-related stress, relationship issues, and life transitions.
In assisting individuals to reach their goals, I utilize a variety of therapy approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-oriented techniques. My style in therapy is goal-oriented, interactive, and supportive. I will be a collaborative and compassionate partner in helping you understand and identify solutions to your challenges.
To address your needs, I will meet you where you are right now and help you examine your problems within the context of the multiple factors influencing your life. My goal is to empower individuals so that they get unstuck in making progress with their goals, and learn to uncover the thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and behaviors that may be holding them back.
